Rising temperatures and more frequent extreme weather events are disrupting agricultural production, while biodiversity decline undermines the ecosystem services upon which food production depends.\nIn this context, ensuring Europe’s long-term food security requires a coherent approach that addresses agricultural, climate, and biodiversity challenges, as well as consumers’ considerations, together. The forthcoming discussions on the future of the Common Agricultural Policy and the next EU programming period provide an important opportunity to strengthen policy coherence and support the transition towards more resilient food systems.\nThis event seeks to contribute to these discussions by presenting the latest scientific evidence from by the Horizon Europe project ECO-READY.
