This conference will introduce and discuss the Intergroup’s 2024-2029 policy priorities and work program for the new legislative term. It will provide a valuable platform to identify urgent environmental issues and discuss key areas of focus, including sustainable food systems, sustainable forest management, water resilience, circular economy and bioeconomy, clean energy and transport, and ocean governance.
We look forward to an open dialogue among Members of the European Parliament (MEPs), representatives from EU institutions and UN agencies, the private sector, researchers, and environmental organizations.
This event is an excellent opportunity for stakeholders across sectors, from institutions but also civil society, to contribute to the Intergroup’s ongoing work, foster collaborations, promote partnerships and the role of science and innovation when addressing environmental challenges.
